‘Sweet and Sour’ actor Ahmad Pourmokhber passes away

Actor of ifilm series ‘Sweet and Sour’, Ahmad Pourmokhber, has passed away at the age of 80.

Pourmokhber died of a brain stroke in one of the hospitals in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Monday.

He had been admitted to the hospital from one month ago.

Born in 1940, Pourmokhber was selected for his first role when he had gone to his son’s audition for the series ‘The Suspect Got Away’ directed by Reza Attaran in 2004.

He subsequently appeared in many movies and series.

Some of the series in which he appeared include ‘Sweet and Sour’, ‘Right on Time’ and ‘A Way Out’, among others.

He also played roles in several movies, including ‘Women Are Angels’, ‘The Fighter Rooster’, ‘Forced Blessing’, ‘Big Trouble’, and ‘Sour Lemon’.
